Mission Statement

The Young Lawyers Division is a sub-division of the EJCBA.  Membership in the Young Lawyers Division is available for all lawyers who are under 36 years old or admitted to practice in Florida for less than 5 years.  The Young Lawyers Division is committed to serving the young attorneys of the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida by offering opportunities for mentoring, socializing, continuing education, opportunities to meet and get to know our judges and community assistance programs.  Historically, the Young Lawyers Division has raised funds to benefit the local Legal Services community, collected toys and other items for the Children’s Visitation Center, and scheduled monthly lunches with our judges, as well as frequent social events and CLEs focused on assisting young lawyers.
